1 Living up to his commitments to us during his last visit to Columbus- OH, the Honorable Bangladesh Ambassador to USA sent a delegation / team to provide visa and consular services to the diaspora Bangladeshi Americans living in Columbus OHIO.

2. Supported by the media partner OHIO SANGBAD, a day long event was organized by BACO ( Bangladesh Association of Central OHIO) at their Henderson office on 18 June, 2023.

3.Three embassy staff led by Mr. Mohammad Moniruzzaman spent the entire day giving services to the OHIOns coming from Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati and other places. In total visa services in the form of NVR , MRP and Dual citizenship documents were received and acted on. ( 68 NVR , 26 MRP and 17 dual citizenship ). Besides individuals who had critical questions concerning passport and other service related issues were heard and counseled by the Embassy staff with patience and clarity.

4. Overall it was a very successful mission for the BD embassy staff and BACO . Our community members who received the services were pleased and happy . All concerned opined that such visits to Columbus, OHIO by the BD embassy staff should continue in the future occur on a regular basis ( at least 1 time in a year)

5. I personally extend my thanks and appreciations to BACO and the media Partner Ohio SANGBAD for their excellent job of organizing this event. I also extend my deep appreciations to the honorable Ambassador Muhammad Imran and his team for the cooperation and services rendered to us.
